Drawing speed

Hi,
When I open crowded autocad files with many shapes in it, it takes a lot of time. And also when i use Pan or Zoom, it takes time to be rendered on the screen. Is there any means by which I can improve the drawing speed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is not a trick to improve the drawing speed.

Hi,
I found a way to reduce the drawing time. I created a form in which i can turn the Layers on and off. So If you turn off the detailed layers and ignore them temporarily, It will increase your drawing speed. Not too bad! :)
