Greetings,
I'm using the latest Avax OCX (v.1.3.73) with VB.NET 2005 Express.
I usually store a background image, added with the Add_Picture method, inside my AVX files.
I usually use also CreateBlock method to build a symbol from some lines.
I'have experimented a unwanted behavior:
If I import a big picture, create a block, and then save the avx file, objects in drawing window disappear.
If I open the saved file, the avax drawing window remains empty.
In your .NET example you can reproduce this behavior with the following steps:
- Import a big BMP picture (ex 2000x2000)
- Draw a few lines, then select them and create a block from them
- Save the drawing as file avx
- The objects disapperar
Can you help me?
Thanks
Mauro

Can you please send me a zip file with the bitmap and some VB code that makes the problem at gardos@hol.gr. The size of the avx file is larger because the block contains the bitmap too.

Hi,
Can you please try the latest AVAX version (1.3.76)? I've corrected the bug.
My advice is also to convert the large BMP files to JPG before adding them in AVAX.

Athanasios
